It's sad cos it's true. It's funny cos he's British.

I know, you probably didn't really want to sit thru all 3 of those videos full of dry, but still fascinating, material. So, I've done you a little favor. I found a shorter, more entertaining clip which is still quite compelling. It's part of a presentation by a man named David Icke. Now, a lot of the other stuff he talks about is total crap, but this is pretty good. So enjoy, and you're welcome.

Don't think I wouldn't point out his navy blue pirate puffy shirt.

Hey, just spreadin the word.

And I didn't, not even for a second.

Hehe. It is pretty awesome.

I didn't think you would point out his shirt, simply because there is nothing to point out. "Pirate puffy shirt?" Granted, I don't think he is wearing an undershirt, but that's obviously you're standard men's dress shirt. Judging by your inabilities to identify the most basic of men's clothing, it is easy to conclude that you are too poor or too much of a lazy, disgusting slob to have ever worn one (you lack the social sohpistication to ever have the need for anything beyond overalls or a "wife beater" or you lack the mental agility to button a shirt properly,) nor have you even seen a dress shirt before (and no, the shirt your McDonald's manager wears doesn't count.)

In all likelihood, it's a lightweight synthetic or silk material seeing as how it's summer, and he has the cuffs (the end of the sleeves (the fabric that covers his arms)) unbuttoned and rolled ever so slightly.

Now Seinfeld...THAT was a puffy pirate shirt. What David is wearing, not so much. Please try to be less of a discernment-challenge yutz in the future.

Oh yeah, I went there.

Whoa, re-the-hell-lax, kalashnikov. Just because you have clinging issues (serious, deep, troubling issues) regarding men's dress wear that you feel to defend them so viciously, doesn't make your wardrobe better than mine, your intelligence greater, nor your penis larger. So chill out, take a joke, or fuck off.

So, I see this comment here which may, in fact, be the worst comment that I have yet to receive on this blog. Not only is it stupid, petty, pointless, and the author so full of themselves, but it was intended to insult a friend of mine. So, my first reaction was to delete the poor thing before anyone saw it and got mad.

Then I thought, "No, I'll leave it up and let people gaze in wonder at its epic innanity." You know, kind of a "Let him rave on that men may know him mad" thing. And I realized that someone like Barnes would not be so debilitatingly offended by something so low as to be beneath any of my fine readers.

So, to my dear "Kalashnikov" (if that is your real name), either this is a completely unwarranted and poorly executed personal attack that you mistakenly think is brilliant, piercing, and oh-so-witty, or it was done as a joke, which turned out to be equally pathetic.

I can only assume that the latter is a possibility because your reference to Seinfeld makes me think that you at least enjoy humor somewhat. And you seem to like Seinfeld's humor and not my friend's. So I assume that you believe that nothing that Seinfeld ever joked about was the least bit far-fetched, as you accuse Barnes's humor to be. How absurd. I suppose that you think Seinfeld's famous "Puffy Shirt" is exactly the sort of things that real pirates wear.

The hell, dude.

I honestly don't think it's a puffy shirt either, more a puffy stomach with a regular shirt over it. But what an ass to write a comment solely to point that out. At least your getting attention which I'm sure is all you wanted in the first place.
I was actually hoping to see some discussion on the video. When I saw An Inconvenient Truth and AG graphed the CO2 to temp correlation all I could think was "Wow, this is not science." I can see a bit more causation between sunspots and earth's temp. But I'm still not convinced. I would be interested to see if someone has done the work to show causation between sunspots and the amount of CO2 produced by plants on a global level. Also, I need to thank one of my roommates for borrowing my computer without asking otherwise I would not have rediscovered your blog Tommy.

Ah, serendipity. Glad you found your way here somehow, Estes.

That's an interesting point about sunspots and plants producing CO2. I guess it would make sense, seeing that more sun means more plants doing their thing, and part of their thing is producing CO2.

Let it be known that Barnes is my hero!

Noted.

Mister secretary, have that added to the record.
