#4

As great as the 2006 Ohio State vs. Michigan game was, I think it kind of overshadows the awesome game from the previous year. Sure, all the hype and spectacle of '06 made it one of the best games ever, but the 2005 game had, I felt, a bit more suspense to it, especially down a near the end. The game was more back and forth. Midway through the 4th quarter, the Buckeyes were actually down by 9. They were able to score, then had the ball again with just over 4 min., down by 2. The drive ate up most of the rest of the clock and they were able to score with just 24 sec. left. The key moment of that drive came near the end, with this play which is now known as "The Catch," and you'll see why...

Great music, as well. And a great scoring run at the end there by Antonio Pittman. It almost seemed like he ran into those first defenders just cos he wanted to knock them over. One of the greatest finishes to a game I've seen.

buckeyebattlecry.blogspot.com is doing a countdown and each day are highlighting players who wore the number (7 days, players who wore #7 (oddly enought, all the players who wore 7 had their last name start with G)) and today they even have a herbstreit video
